The following countries are affected by the European Payments Council resolution that requires all European banks to process all cross-border euro payments, received within the European Union and the European Economic Area (EEA), with mandatory BIC and IBAN information.

EU member states	Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom.
EEA members	Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway.
