Buying a boat or other high value items in a foreign currency
In 2012, boat enthusiast Mr De Rome, and his family, based on the Isle of White, embarked on a project of love to refurbish a 1964 oak hulled motor yacht. The boat needed a complete renovation of the structure costing over £150,000.
Currency//UK has been behind the project every step of the way helping Mr De Rome transferring funds to the boatyards and transporters involved, but also securing the exchange rate for future costs that have yet to be charged for. Mr De Rome and the family are now enjoying the yacht holidaying around the Mediterranean each summer.
