How will GBP finish the week?

There’s nothing on the UK calendar today, while there are some data releases from the US this afternoon.

However, the data is largely second division and will unlikely have much impact on USD and hence GBP/USD as such we may well see GBP continue its slow slide versus the US currency.

Key releases from the UK next week could see a more independent story of GBP with Consumer Price Index (CPI), retail sales the first revision to Q1 GDP out on Tuesday morning and the BoE MPC minutes due Wednesday morning.
